Ladies and Gentlemen, liebe LOTUS-Freunde,
unsere erste gelungene Veranstaltung war und ist immer noch die Bosch Hockenheim Historic – „Das Jim Clark Revival“ auf dem Hockenheimring.
Auch in diesem Jahr erwarten wir wieder über 300 LOTUS-Sportwagen sowie viele LOTUS-Highlights, u.a. die einzigartige Black&Gold LOTUS-Kollektion mit vielen historischen Formel 1 Fahrzeugen von Herrn Kai Nieklauson von ChromeCars.
Wir werden ein großes LOTUS-Fest feiern, weil diese Veranstaltung ja einen bedeutenden Bezug auf LOTUS zum Gedenken an Jim Clark hat. Es ist bereits 55 Jahre her, dass Jim Clark sein Leben auf dem Hockenheimring verloren hat. Wie Ihr alle wisst, ist diese Veranstaltung ihm, JIM CLARK gewidmet. Er kam bei einem unbedeutsamen Formel 2 Rennen am 7. April 1968 in seinem LOTUS-Formel 2 tödlich ums Leben. Wir gedenken jedes Jahr, anlässlich der Bosch Hockenheim Historic an diesen außergewöhnlichen Rennfahrer.
Auch in 2023 wird es erneut an der Gedenkstätte von JIM CLARK eine große Zusammenkunft für alle JIM CLARK Enthusiasten geben. Wir feiern nämlich den Weltmeistersieg von Jim Clark, der am 28.12.1963 Weltmeister auf LOTUS in Südafrika wurde. Zu Ehren von Jim Clark wird es hierzu ein außergewöhnliches Formel 2 Rennen geben. Außerdem feiern wir in diesem Jahr noch ein großes LOTUS-Highlight. Wie viele LOTUS-Kenner sicherlich wissen, feiert LOTUS in diesem Jahr sein 75-jähriges Firmenjubiläum. Und es wird auch in diesem Jahr wieder eine Pokal Preisverleihung für einige LOTUS-Teilnehmer geben.
Neben den verschiedenen Rennserien wird es zwei Formel 1 Rennen zu sehen geben, die BOSS GP und die historische F1.
Ich kann Euch schon jetzt versichern, dass wir in diesem Jahr, anlässlich der BOSCH HOCKENHEIM HISTORIC dieses LOTUS-Event toppen werden.

Our first successful event was and still is the Bosch Hockenheim Historic – “The Jim Clark
Revival” at the legendary Hockenheimring.
This year we are again expecting more than 300 LOTUS sports cars and many LOTUS
highlights, including the unique Black&Gold LOTUS collection with many historic
Formula 1 cars from Mr. Nieklauson from ChromeCars.
We will have a big LOTUS festival because this event has a significant LOTUS reference
to the memory of Jim Clark. It has been 55 years since Jim Clark tragically lost his life at
the Hockenheimring. As you all know, this event is dedicated to him, the legendary JIM
CLARK. He was tragically killed in an accident at the Hockenheimring on 7 April 1968
during an insignificant Formula 2 race in his LOTUS 48. We commemorate this
extraordinary racing driver every year on the occasion of the Bosch Hockenheim
Historic.
In 2023 there will again be a big gathering for all JIM CLARK enthusiasts at the JIM
CLARK memorial. We are celebrating the world championship victory of Jim Clark, who
became world champion in his LOTUS in South Africa on 28 December 1963. There will
be an extraordinary Formula 2 race in honor of Jim Clark.
We are also celebrating another big LOTUS highlight this year. As many LOTUS fans
surely know, LOTUS is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. And there will be a
trophy award ceremony for some LOTUS participants again this year.
In addition to the various racing series, there will be two Formula 1 races, the BOSS GP
and the historic F1.
I can already assure you that this year, on the occasion of the BOSCH HOCKENHEIM
HISTORIC, we will have an unforgettable LOTUS event.
